Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC), 63-10 in a league test.

With the triumph, Belton-Honea Path improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC) to confront the Fury in a AAA Region 2 test on Friday, October 14. The Fury come into the test with a record of 0-7. Fountain Inn lost 55-14 in their recent league battle against Powdersville (Greenville, SC)

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC) in a AAA Region 2 battle, on Friday, October 14. Palmetto will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Hurricanes enter the battle with a 2-5 record after their 54-7 league win over Southside (Greenville, SC).
