The St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD) football routed the visiting Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA), 41-3 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Knights clash with the St. Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) in a Washington Catholic - Metro bout, on Friday, October 14. St. Mary's Ryken will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 13-7 non-league win over Potomac School (McLean, VA).
The Knights (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA). The Cardinals enter the Washington Catholic - Metro bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Bishop Ireton was crushed by Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC), 42-14, in a league bout.
