The Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley NIGHTHAWKS football team (Rock Valley, IA), was beaten 34-12 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors (Sergeant Bluff, IA)

The Warriors (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA). The Crusaders come into the 3A District 1 challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Bishop Heelan Catholic was beaten by Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA), 29-7, in a league challenge.

The NIGHTHAWKS now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to MOC-Floyd Valley for a 3A District 1 challenge on Friday, October 14. Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley will meet a Dutchmen team coming off a 14-0 league win over Carroll (Carroll, IA). The Dutchmen record now stands at 5-2.
