The Corunna Cavaliers football squad scored 49 points and limited the visiting Brandon Blackhawks to 14 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Friday.
The Cavaliers (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Swartz Creek (Swartz Creek, MI). The Dragons come into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Swartz Creek trounced Flushing (Flushing, MI), 35-34, in a league challenge.
The Blackhawks now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holly for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 14. Brandon will meet a Bronchos team coming off a 28-21 league win over Kearsley (Flint, MI). The Bronchos record now stands at 4-3.
