    In Friday's league match, the visiting Breckenridge Buckaroos football squad scored a big 42-0 victory over the Iowa Park Hawks.

    In their next game, the Buckaroos clash with the Vernon Lions (Vernon, TX) in a 3A-1 Region I District 3 match, on Friday, October 14. Breckenridge will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 42-28 league win over Clyde (Clyde, TX).

    The Hawks (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Bowie (Bowie, TX). The Jackrabbits enter the 3A-1 Region I District 3 match with a 0-6 record. In their last match, Bowie was crushed by Jim Ned (Tuscola, TX), 48-18, in a league match.
