The Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds (Wolsey, SD) football trounced the host Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD), 47-8 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Warbirds now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Avon for a non-league battle on Friday, October 14. Wolsey-Wessington will play a Pirates squad coming off a 36-22 league win over Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD). The Pirates record now stands at 4-3.
