The Rogers Pirates football team (Florence, AL), was tipped 24-21 in Friday's league challenge with the host Brooks Lions (Killen, AL)

The Lions (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilson (Florence, AL). The Warriors come into the 4A Region 7 challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Wilson nipped East Lawrence (Trinity, AL), 33-21, in a league challenge.

The Pirates now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deshler for a 4A Region 7 challenge on Friday, October 14. Rogers will meet a Tigers team coming off a 45-21 league win over Central (Florence, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 8-0.
