California High School Football - Central topped by Buchanan

The Central Grizzlies football team (Fresno, CA), was beaten 49-41 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA)

The Bears (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Clovis (Clovis, CA). The Cougars come into the Tri-River challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Clovis was beaten by Clovis North (Fresno, CA), 38-35, in a league challenge.

The Grizzlies now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clovis East for a Tri-River challenge on Thursday, October 13. Central will meet a Timberwolves team coming off a 42-30 league loss to Clovis West (Fresno, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 6-1.
