The Bucklin Red Aces football team (Bucklin, KS), was ripped 54-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Dighton Hornets (Dighton, KS)

The Hornets (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Satanta (Satanta, KS). The Indians come into the Southern Plains-Iroquois (8 Man) challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Satanta was ripped by Hodgeman County (Jetmore, KS), 58-18, in a non-league challenge.

The Red Aces now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Central Plains for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 14. Bucklin will meet a Oilers team coming off a 60-14 non-league win over Otis-Bison (Otis, KS). The Oilers record now stands at 1-5.
