The Challis Vikings football team (Challis, ID), was ripped 80-20 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Butte County Pirates (Arco, ID)
The Pirates (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Raft River (Malta, ID). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Raft River trounced Murtaugh (Murtaugh, ID), 26-12, in a league challenge.
The Vikings now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grace for a 1A District IV (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 14. Challis will meet a Grizzlies team coming off a 72-8 non-league win over Wells (Wells, NV). The Grizzlies record now stands at 5-1.
