Pennsylvania High School Football - Monessen tipped by Carmichaels

The Monessen Greyhounds football team (Monessen, PA), was tipped 40-36 in Friday's league challenge with the host Carmichaels Mighty Mikes (Carmichaels, PA)

The Mighty Mikes (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against California (Coal Center, PA). The Trojans come into the WPIAL A Tri-County South challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, California nipped West Greene (Waynesburg, PA), 47-14, in a league challenge.

The Greyhounds now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Jefferson-Morgan for a WPIAL A Tri-County South challenge on Friday, October 14. Monessen will meet a Rockets team coming off a 49-12 league loss to Mapletown (Greensboro, PA). The Rockets record now stands at 4-3.
