The Hackett Hornets football team (Hackett, AR), was tipped 18-12 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Cedarville Pirates (Cedarville, AR)

The Pirates (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against West Fork (West Fork, AR). The Tigers come into the 3A Region 1 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, West Fork was tipped by Lavaca (Lavaca, AR), 31-7, in a league challenge.

The Hornets now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charleston for a 3A Region 1 challenge on Friday, October 14. Hackett will meet a Tigers team coming off a 42-7 league win over Mansfield (Mansfield, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 5-1.
