Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM), 27-20 in a league test.
With the triumph, Centennial improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Hawks host Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM) to battle the Cavemen in a 6A District 3/4 test on Saturday, October 15. The Cavemen come into the test with a record of 4-3. Carlsbad won 33-26 in their recent league test against Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM)
With the loss, Hobbs drops to 6-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM) to battle the Tigers in a 6A District 3/4 test on Saturday, October 15. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 4-3. Alamogordo won 13-10 in their recent league test against Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM)
