West Virginia High School Football - Clay County victorious over Nitro

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Clay County Panthers football squad scored a good 34-20 victory over the Nitro Wildcats.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 14. Clay County will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 0-6 record after their 28-6 non-league loss to Wayne (Wayne, WV).

The Wildcats (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Winfield (Winfield, WV). The Generals enter the Cardinal match with a 5-1 record.
