The Council Grove Braves football team (Council Grove, KS), was beaten 46-15 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Marion Warriors (Marion, KS)

The Warriors (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bluestem (Leon, KS). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Bluestem was beaten by Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, KS), 41-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Braves now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Eureka for a Tri-Valley challenge on Friday, October 14. Council Grove will meet a Tornadoes team coming off a 40-20 non-league win over West Franklin (Pomona, KS). The Tornadoes record now stands at 3-3.
