The Des Arc Eagles thwarted the visiting Marked Tree Indians football team by a count of 38-14 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Des Arc upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Clarendon (Clarendon, AR) to encounter the Lions in a 2A Region 2 outing on Friday, October 14. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 4-2. Clarendon won 20-6 in their recent league bout against McCrory (McCrory, AR)
The Indians (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against McCrory (McCrory, AR). The Jaguars enter the 2A Region 2 bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, McCrory was toppled by Clarendon (Clarendon, AR), 20-6, in a league bout.
