Idaho High School Football - Mountain View drops to Eagle

In Friday's non-league game, the Eagle Mustangs (Eagle, ID) football team knocked off the visiting Mountain View Mavericks (Meridian, ID), by a final score of 28-19.

The Mustangs (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Borah (Boise, ID). The Lions come into the 5A Southern Idaho - River game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Borah toppled Boise (Boise, ID), 29-14, in a league game.

The Mavericks now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Nampa for a 5A Southern Idaho - River game on Friday, October 14. Mountain View will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 34-26 non-league win over Skyview (Nampa, ID). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-2.
