Ohio High School Football - Elgin defeats Ridgemont

October 7, 2022: Marion, OH 43302

In Friday's league match, the host Elgin Comets football squad scored a good 40-20 victory over the Ridgemont Golden Gophers.

In their next game, the Comets clash with the Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH) in a Northwest Central match, on Friday, October 14. Elgin will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 6-2 record after their 56-6 league win over Ridgedale (Morral, OH).

The Golden Gophers (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Hardin Northern (Dola, OH). The Polar Bears enter the Northwest Central match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Hardin Northern ran past Crestline (Crestline, OH), 49-8, in a league match.
