The Elm Creek Buffaloes football team (Elm Creek, NE), was beaten 30-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Twin Loup Wolves (Sargent, NE)

The Wolves (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Valley (Greeley, NE). The Cougars come into the D2 District 7 (8 Man) challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Central Valley achieved victory over Burwell (Burwell, NE), 58-6, in a league challenge.

The Buffaloes now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ansley/Litchfield for a D2 District 7 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 14. Elm Creek will meet a Spartans team coming off a 56-20 league win over Overton (Overton, NE). The Spartans record now stands at 2-5.
