The Estill County Engineers football squad scored 61 points and restricted the visiting McCreary Central Raiders to 21 in the Engineers league victory on Friday.

The Engineers now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garrard County for a 3A District 5 battle on Friday, October 14. Estill County will play a Golden Lions squad coming off a 44-14 league loss to Bell County (Pineville, KY). The Golden Lions record now stands at 2-5.

Coming up next, the Raiders play the Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY) in a 3A District 5 battle, on Friday, October 14. McCreary Central will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Rockets enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 28-7 league loss to Bell County (Pineville, KY).
