The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes thwarted the visiting Fort Bend Dulles Vikings football team by a count of 45-14 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Fort Bend Hightower upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to George Ranch (Richmond, TX) to encounter the Longhorns in a 6A Region III District 20 outing on Friday, October 14. The Longhorns go into the outing with a record of 4-3. George Ranch won 20-17 in their recent league outing against Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX)
