The Wells Warriors thwarted the visiting Fryeburg Raiders football team by a count of 28-14 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Wells upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Warriors host Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME) to confront the Rams in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 15. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 5-2. Kennebunk won 38-8 in their recent league outing against Deering (Portland, ME)
With the loss, Fryeburg moves to 3-4 on the season. The Raiders travel to Westbrook (Westbrook, ME) to confront the Blue Blazes in a C South outing on Saturday, October 15. The Blue Blazes go into the outing with a record of 3-4. Westbrook won 27-6 in their recent non-league outing against Nokomis (Newport, ME)
