New York High School Football - Monticello routed by Goshen Central

The Monticello Panthers football team (Monticello, NY), was ripped 59-26 in Friday's league challenge with the host Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY)

The Gladiators (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Our Lady of Lourdes trounced Valley Central (Montgomery, NY), 46-14, in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Beacon for a Section 9 A - Division 2 challenge on Saturday, October 15. Monticello will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 34-8 league loss to Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-5.
