New Jersey High School Football - Northern Highlands trounces Hackensack

In Friday's league match, the host Northern Highlands Highlanders football squad scored a big 42-6 victory over the Hackensack Comets.

In their next game, the Highlanders clash with the Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ) in a Super - Freedom Blue match, on Friday, October 14. Northern Highlands will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 21-3 league loss to Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ).

The Comets (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Eastside (Paterson, NJ). The Ghosts enter the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Eastside was crushed by NV - Old Tappan (Old Tappan, NJ), 35-13, in a non-league match.
