The Horizon Scorpions football team (El Paso, TX), was beaten 48-40 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX)

The Knights (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Del Valle (El Paso, TX). The Conquistadores come into the 5A-1 Region I District 1 challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Del Valle achieved victory over Parkland (El Paso, TX), 20-14, in a league challenge.

The Scorpions now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ysleta for a 5A-1 Region I District 1 challenge on Friday, October 21. Horizon will meet a Indians team coming off a 49-8 league loss to Bel Air (El Paso, TX). The Indians record now stands at 1-6.
