The Lewisburg Patriots topped the visiting Hernando Tigers football team by a final score of 27-16 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Lewisburg improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Patriots travel to South Panola (Batesville, MS) to confront the Tigers in a 6A Region 1 outing on Friday, October 14. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 4-2. South Panola lost 28-21 in their recent league outing against Southaven (Southaven, MS)

With the loss, Hernando moves to 3-4 on the season. The Tigers host DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS) to confront the Jaguars in a 6A Region 1 outing on Friday, October 14. The Jaguars go into the outing with a record of 4-3. DeSoto Central won 15-12 in their recent league outing against Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS)
