New York High School Football - Holland Patent topples Vernon-Verona-Sherrill

October 7, 2022: Verona, NY 13478

The Holland Patent Golden Knights (Holland Patent, NY) football defeated the host Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils (Verona, NY), 14-6 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Golden Knights face the General Brown Lions (Dexter, NY) in a Section 3 C - 2 bout, on Friday, October 14. Holland Patent will attempt to advance on its 6-0 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 30-27 league loss to Adirondack (Boonville, NY).

The Red Devils (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Cazenovia (Cazenovia, NY). The Lakers enter the non-league bout with a 5-0 record. In their last bout, Cazenovia defeated Marcellus (Marcellus, NY), 28-21, in a league bout.
