    The Lake Blue Streaks (Uniontown, OH) football edged the host Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH), 14-12 in Friday's league bout.

    In their next game, the Blue Streaks face the Perry Panthers (Massillon, OH) in a Federal bout, on Friday, October 14. Lake will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 4-4 record after their 38-35 league loss to Green (Uniontown, OH).

    The Vikings (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Green (Uniontown, OH). The Bulldogs enter the Federal bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Green nudged Perry (Massillon, OH), 38-35, in a league bout.
