The Valley Pirates football team (Sanders, AZ), was knocked off 34-12 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Hopi Bruins (Keams Canyon, AZ)
The Bruins (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ). The Falcons come into the 2A Little Colorado challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Alchesay was knocked off by Holbrook (Holbrook, AZ), 48-6, in a league challenge.
The Pirates now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pinon for a 2A Little Colorado challenge on Thursday, October 13. Valley will meet a Eagles team coming off a 63-6 league loss to St. Johns (St. Johns, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
