Pennsylvania High School Football - Mapletown smashes Jefferson-Morgan

October 7, 2022: Jefferson, PA 15344

The Mapletown Maples (Greensboro, PA) football routed the host Jefferson-Morgan Rockets (Jefferson, PA), 49-12 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Maples face the Bentworth Bearcats (Bentleyville, PA) in a WPIAL A Tri-County South bout, on Friday, October 14. Mapletown will attempt to advance on its 7-0 season record. The Bearcats enter the bout with a 2-5 record after their 56-21 league loss to Bethlehem Center (Fredericktown, PA).

The Rockets (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Monessen (Monessen, PA). The Greyhounds enter the WPIAL A Tri-County South bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Monessen was overwhelmed by Carmichaels (Carmichaels, PA), 40-36, in a league bout.
