In Friday's league game, the Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY) football team smashed the visiting Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY), by a score of 52-7.
The Golden Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Harlan County (Harlan, KY). The Black Bears come into the 4A District 8 game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Harlan County was ripped by Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY), 45-6, in a league game.
