Pennsylvania High School Football - Juniata Valley knocks off Tussey Mountain

October 7, 2022: Alexandria, PA 16611

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA) and the visiting Tussey Mountain Titans (Saxton, PA), observed Juniata Valley's football squad thwart Tussey Mountain by a tally of 34-14.

The Hornets now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Windber for a non-league contest on Friday, October 14. Juniata Valley will play a Ramblers squad coming off a 57-0 league win over Meyersdale (Meyersdale, PA). The Ramblers record now stands at 6-1.

Coming up next, the Titans play the Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs (Claysburg, PA) in a Inter-County outing, on Friday, October 14. Tussey Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 1-6 record after their 44-21 league loss to Northern Bedford County (Loysburg, PA).
