In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Noxubee County Tigers football squad scored a big 44-7 victory over the Kemper County Wildcats.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Amory Panthers (Amory, MS) in a 3A Region 4 match, on Friday, October 14. Noxubee County will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 6-1 record after their 51-0 league win over Hatley (Amory, MS).

The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Newton (Newton, MS). The Tigers enter the 2A Region 5 match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Newton was crushed by Lake (Lake, MS), 27-18, in a league match.
