The Sequoyah Indians (Tahlequah, OK) football defeated the visiting Keys Cougars (Park Hill, OK), 42-21 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Indians face the Prague Red Devils (Prague, OK) in a 2A District 5 bout, on Thursday, October 13. Sequoyah will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Red Devils enter the bout with a 6-0 record after their 55-6 league win over Roland (Roland, OK).
The Cougars (0-6) will now prepare for their bout against Warner (Warner, OK). The Eagles enter the 2A District 5 bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Warner defeated Henryetta (Henryetta, OK), 33-30, in a league bout.
