The Lyle/Pacelli Athletics football team (Lyle, MN), was beaten 42-22 in Friday's league challenge with the host Kingsland Knights (Spring Valley, MN)

The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Spring Grove (Spring Grove, MN). The Lions come into the District 9 South - East (9 Man) challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Spring Grove achieved victory over LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN), 50-21, in a league challenge.

The Athletics now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Grand Meadow for a District 9 South - East (9 Man) challenge on Friday, October 14.
