In Friday's league game, the Plainview Indians (Ardmore, OK) football team knocked off the host Lone Grove Longhorns (Lone Grove, OK), by a final score of 42-21.

The Indians (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Pauls Valley (Pauls Valley, OK). The Panthers come into the 3A District 2 game with a 3-4 record.

The Longhorns now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sulphur for a 3A District 2 game on Thursday, October 13. Lone Grove will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 34-28 league loss to Pauls Valley (Pauls Valley, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.
