The Lowellville Rockets thwarted the host McDonald Blue Devils football team by a count of 36-13 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Lowellville upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Rockets travel to Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH) to encounter the Rams in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet outing on Friday, October 14. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 7-1. Mineral Ridge won 48-14 in their recent league outing against McKinley (Sebring, OH)

With the loss, McDonald moves to 2-6 on the season. The Blue devils host Waterloo (Atwater, OH) to encounter the Vikings in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet outing on Friday, October 14. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 3-5. Waterloo lost 7-0 in their recent league outing against Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH)
