The Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds football squad scored 60 points and restricted the host Ludlow Panthers to 30 in the Thoroughbreds league victory on Friday.
The Thoroughbreds now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellevue for a 1A District 4 battle on Thursday, October 13. Newport Central Catholic will face a Tigers squad coming off a 46-0 league loss to Dayton (Dayton, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 0-7.
