The Lugoff-Elgin Demons football team (Lugoff, SC), was tipped 18-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Westwood Redhawks (Blythewood, SC)
The Redhawks (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridge View (Columbia, SC). The Blazers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Ridge View nipped Irmo (Columbia, SC), 40-37, in a league challenge.
The Demons now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richland Northeast for a AAAA Region 5 challenge on Friday, October 14. Lugoff-Elgin will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 35-18 league loss to A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-5.
