The Traip Rangers (Kittery, ME) football routed the host Maranacook Black Bears (Readfield, ME), 60-6 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Rangers clash with the Boothbay Seahawks (Boothbay Harbor, ME) in a 8-Man Small South (8 Man) bout, on Saturday, October 15. Traip will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Seahawks enter the bout with a 1-5 record after their 54-0 league loss to Mountain Valley (Rumford, ME).
The Black Bears (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME). The Hawks enter the 8-Man Small South (8 Man) bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Sacopee Valley was crushed by Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME), 46-6, in a league bout.
