The Marquette Redmen (Marquette, MI) football defeated the host Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI), 21-6 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Redmen face the Midland Chemics (Midland, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 15. Marquette will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Chemics enter the bout with a 6-1 record after their 51-8 league win over Bay City Western (Auburn, MI).
