The Bobcats (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson was tipped by Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA), 42-3, in a league challenge.

The Roughriders now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sioux City East for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 14. Roosevelt will meet a Black Raiders team coming off a 65-16 league win over Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA). The Black Raiders record now stands at 5-2.
