The Montpelier Locomotives football team (Montpelier, OH), was ripped 60-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Ottawa Hills Green Bears (Toledo, OH)

The Green Bears (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwood (Northwood, OH). The Rangers come into the Toledo Area challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Northwood was ripped by Hopewell-Loudon (Bascom, OH), 40-27, in a non-league challenge.

The Locomotives now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Margaretta for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 14. Montpelier will meet a Polar Bears team coming off a 29-26 league loss to Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH). The Polar Bears record now stands at 6-2.
