The Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI) football overcame the host Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI), 34-18 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Mariners clash with the Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) in a Division III-B bout, on Friday, October 14. Narragansett will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Chieftains enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 13-3 league loss to Moses Brown (Providence, RI).
The Patriots (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Rogers (Newport, RI). The Vikings enter the Division III-B bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Rogers was toppled by West Warwick (West Warwick, RI), 14-12, in a league bout.
