In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Springbrook Blue Devils football squad scored a big 49-6 victory over the Northwood Gladiators.

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Winters Mill Falcons (Westminster, MD) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 14. Springbrook will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 2-4 record after their 19-13 league loss to South Carroll (Sykesville, MD).

The Gladiators (0-6) will now prepare for their match against Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD). The Panthers enter the Montgomery County 4A - North match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Paint Branch routed Blake (Silver Spring, MD), 17-6, in a league match.
