The Perquimans Pirates football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Washington County Panthers to 34 in the Pirates league win on Friday.

The Pirates now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Bertie for a 1A East Conference 2 battle on Friday, October 14. Perquimans will play a Falcons squad coming off a 39-14 league loss to Gates County (Gatesville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 2-5.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Gates County Red Barons (Gatesville, NC) in a 1A East Conference 2 battle, on Friday, October 14.
