New Jersey High School Football - Point Pleasant Beach felled by Shore Regional

In Friday's league game, the Shore Regional Blue Devils (West Long Branch, NJ) football team were victorious over the visiting Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ), by a score of 35-7.

The Blue Devils (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Manasquan (Manasquan, NJ). The Warriors come into the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Manasquan knocked off Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ), 35-14, in a non-league game.

The Garnet Gulls now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Liberty for a non-league game on Friday, October 14. Point Pleasant Beach will battle a Lions team coming off a 12-7 non-league loss to Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 2-4.
