The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) and the visiting Streator Bulldogs (Streator, IL), observed Reed-Custer's football squad bounce Streator by a count of 73-14.

The Comets now own a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Coal City for a Illinois Central Eight contest on Friday, October 14. Reed-Custer will encounter a Coalers squad coming off a 28-14 league win over Peotone (Peotone, IL). The Coalers record now stands at 5-2.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs encounter the Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, IL) in a Illinois Central Eight contest, on Friday, October 14. Streator will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
