The Santa Rosa Warriors football team (Santa Rosa, TX), was ripped 43-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX)

The Greyhounds (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Monte Alto (Monte Alto, TX). The Blue Devil come into the 3A-2 Region IV District 16 challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Monte Alto was ripped by Odem (Odem, TX), 49-6, in a league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Monte Alto for a 3A-2 Region IV District 16 challenge on Friday, October 21.
