The Valley View Cougars football squad scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Scranton Knights to 7 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delaware Valley for a Lackawanna 1 battle on Friday, October 14. Valley View will face a Warriors squad coming off a 35-24 non-league win over Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-4.

Coming up next, the Knights face the Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 battle, on Saturday, October 15. Scranton will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Comets enter the battle with a 1-6 record after their 28-14 league loss to Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA).
